Hype about Metaverse

   about Metaverse

In 1992, American sci-fi writer Neal Stephenson coined the term 'metaverse' in his book Snow Crash. This book depicts a dystopian future world where rich people live in a 30 virtual world inhabited by avatars of real people. Now this has become a vision of the future of technology in our lives. If the hype about metaverse is true, it is going to be the future of the internet.

The metaverse is a network of shared, immersive virtual worlds where people can connect with friends, create and play games, work and shop. It will be a virtual 3D space that will be accessible through VR (Virtual reality). It is the future of the internet and it can also be the future of connectivity.

In metaverse we could attend conferences. Currently the tech company Facebook has the biggest stake in the metaverse. Facebook describes metaverse as a set of virtual spaces where you can create and explore with other people who aren't in the same Physical space as you are. Recently Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook would change its name to Meta and go all in

on building a future version of the internet called the metaverse. He wants billions of people to live, work. and play in the metaverse by 2030.In a recent interview Mark Zuckerberg described the "Metaverse is basically an upgraded version of the internet where people can have different experiences that couldn't necessarily happen on a 20 app or a web page"
